Venue

We wanted to find a venue that would provide an intimate atmosphere and an environment where ideas could be easily exchanged.

And we found The National Center of Dance-Bucharest.

Our location is a dynamic cultural platform, a generous space of creation, debate and reflection . Founded in 2004, The National Center of Dance - Bucharest (CNDB) was the first institution of its kind dedicated to the art of contemporary dance in Romania.

Situated in the University Square, in the very center of Bucharest, CNDB is located at the 3rd and 4th floor on the north side of The National Theatre.

Thus, the "Essence of a Changing World" starts at the 0 km in Bucharest.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxBucharest, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBucharest event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
